I feel like people who argue its not "open" just mean they have no safety or harassment concerns because they are anon and/or non marginalized.
yeah a lot of them are complaining that it's gonna kill open discussion and the funny thing is most ppl i know would be Much more open to actually asking questions/soliciting discussion if they weren't all so exhausted from dumb fucks all over their regular tweets all the time
