i support all neural interface research only so long as it goes to a device that forces men to experience the pain of pregnancy and birth in real time

As a parent I find this a weird take. My guess is that the vast majority (i.e. 99%) of mothers also say that children are the best thing. Pregnancy and birth is 40 wks + 48 hours. Parenthood is for decades. My wife barely remembers the pregnancy/birth times.

ofc mothers are glad they had their kids but how many would describe them as a "life hack"? how many men are risking permanent bodily damage for those kids? re: decades of parenthood, how many men are cooking for their kids, remembering their friends, picking them up from school?

Lmao and we just gonna ignore the irony of VC thought Twitter advice to "have kids" when they routinely discriminate against funding women bc they either have kids or just have a uterus and "might have kids"

I’m so sick of design conference talks with men saying having kids is what changed their lives. Such privilege.

having a ton of money, being white and male are really good life hacks too. Also, don't forget to be really, really, ridiculously good looking.

DID YOU KNOW that childbirth is so dangerous and traumatic that women are literally wired to forget how terrible it is.
-
It’s kinda also mind boggling how women in the US still die of completely preventable post birth issues.
