for a while i’ve wanted a space to write more like some journaling some assorted observations some dumb bullshit and i like the concreteness of paper but i like the constant accessibility of digital and i can’t decide between the two and this has paralyzed me for like 6 years
a crucial thing abt paper is handwriting is less instantly readable than typed text and for me it means it’s much easier to resist reading over what i just wrote and the whole thing feels less intended for immediate external consumption
I really like the feel of iPads for similar reasons. You don’t need the nicest or newest iPad and the note-taking + writing is unmatched imo
Maybe a remarkable tablet?
i write all of my songs in notepad++, replicable, readable, searchable, malleable, stays legible through edits...and my handwriting is terrible thank you very much grad school...
