well most people seem to think it’s the mckinsey thing. also telling someone they have no chance bc they have no political experience worked well last time
ya i mean i’ve disliked pete from the beginning for reasons less to do w his politics than just the weird arrogance it takes to be a total credentialist and yet presume that u deserve to be president despite lacking all the relevant credentials

not wrong but i wonder how much of the animus in general is political and how much is credential havers/ credential enviers being angry at him for breaking the rules of the game (ie get a House seat first or whatever)

ya probably a mix. i’m probably a mix too tbh i’d be lying if i said i thought credentials were entirely orthogonal to experience & value
