i will say part of what i was reacting to in your discussion was this bit where you were like “why have this term” and i hear that a lot too and that’s also tiring. imperfect language can still be useful those things aren’t oppositional
Yah. That was a bit too on the nose. But I was sort of retorting, rhetorically, to 'definitionism' around the term - which has the shadow of privilege binaries - rather than, your point, the premise that POC intends to frame power more than colour, and works much better as such.
