mentally adding this to that invisible cities book
the city of new tokyo contains no inefficiencies. whereas in other towns, time slips away in lost moments and small pauses, in new tokyo, every action creates a reaction, the inhabitants move along perfect hypotenuses, calories burn cleanly into monetized economic value. it sucks
