tech guys love to be like "i got good at writing by just writing more! look see i wrote 100 blogs and now i have an audience of 20k" not realizing the hole in this logic which is that their audience is entirely illiterate

Whenever someone links me slate star codex I just assume that they can’t read because who would actually read all of that
weirdly enough i haven’t ever seen this but i opened some of his “top articles” and it was all overly confident 2 sentence medium dot com style paragraphs so checks out
