dumb that when the bank changes your credit card number it’s you who has to go through and manually change every saved card on every service or subscription you’ve ever used

What’s the point of changing for a new number when it can be automatically linked to your old number?
yeah there needs to be a manual verification step on the part of the cardholder but i just want to receive a notification from my bank like “should we update payment for this merchant y/n” and not have to track down everything myself idk
