I hate flying. I love driving. Driving is cinematic. Driving has narratives, pace, tension, sounds, score, all in wide screen, right in front of you. Flying sucks

I've taken the full California Zephyr and the Empire Builder for fun quite a few times now, suuuper rec. The observation cars are so cinematic. (best time is in the early fall, when the leaves start changing and there's still lots of daylight)
