(newly literate software engineer voice) recently i’ve stumbled upon a process of putting ideas into words, and words into sentences. more people should be doing this (link to guide) as i’ve found it’s quite effective, and even better, i think there’s huge potential for monetizat

ROFL. Like in many cases eng folks don't have any real education in the humanities, which is fine of course but then a little cringe-cute when they "discover" Socrates or something and tell everyone about it like they just unearthed an underground band or sleeper film.

Oh, good: I thought maybe you were referring to engineers discovering literature. I know I was an insufferable asshole for a bit when I finally started reading Hemingway. But I mean, the punch of those short, declarative sentences is hard not to spread the good news about.
