i can deal with most other setups but my only hard opinion is that ppl who maintain like 5 floating browser windows all kinda overlapping that they drag around all day are completely insane

does anyone else have oddly specific preferences around window sizes for different applications like i need browsers and code editors to be max size but terminal to be ~50% screen but same ratio and microsoft word to be almost full but not quite

Same. Except my requirement for MS Word is that it never be opened on my computer ;-)

word slows my computer down so much if i have it open for longer than a few hours! could never get into writing papers in google docs though something about it feels too Chill & Fun

Absolutely, yes and I have profiles set up for my terminal so I can see all of the containers I have running too (which are also sized based on what they are)
