my personal take on cubicles is that they don't do much for privacy/noise isolation (i'd still want headphones) but now u can't see anything either. reminds me of one year when i had a roommate in a 2br who never really talked but was Always There....awfulhttps://twitter.com/radiocolin/status/1179544754138357765?s=20 …

I really like half-height cubicles. You don't get the infinite rows of desks effect, it gives a space that feels "yours", but it's basically open. You can see who's where and what they're up to, have spontaneous convos, etc. And gives some screen privacy by facing different ways.
