the most annoying and also saddest thing about public-default social media sites like twitter is they've tricked a whole bunch of lonely, socially awkward men into thinking that other people by default want to talk to them

i have mixed feeling about replies bc they are often a good check on people with both a lot of influence and a lot of opinions and sometimes ppl come up with some funny riffs but i would love to be able to turn them off on tweets that are just status updates from my brain
maybe this will be my machine learning startup. "would my reply to this tweet be appreciated? an AI powered browser extension for the sad reply guy"
