the most annoying and also saddest thing about public-default social media sites like twitter is they've tricked a whole bunch of lonely, socially awkward men into thinking that other people by default want to talk to them

would honestly pay twitter $ to let me turn off replies by default
i have mixed feeling about replies bc they are often a good check on people with both a lot of influence and a lot of opinions and sometimes ppl come up with some funny riffs but i would love to be able to turn them off on tweets that are just status updates from my brain
