Are all of the messages from the same guy or is it the same guy who is the subject of all of them? Because "trying to set you up with someone else because you didn't respond to my attempts" would be a whole new level of weird.
the 2 facebook messages are from actual friends of mine that this guy has like........hunted down in an effort to talk to me or something
