They do promote Palantir a weird amount, but also they say it was a few years ago...also while the article probably does more harm than good since it perpetuates these stereotypes, I think it contributes lots of knowledge that I wish I’d known freshman year since the CDC was crap
the shallowness of the info is just lazy reporting (another ex like who cares abt mehran the real industry lecturer is jerry) i also fundamentally disagree that it’s a good idea to further pander to the kids who just wanna sell out to vc like they make stanford toxic...fuck them

the cdc is shit but that’s an issue that should be addressed beyond tech stuff and idk stanford already makes it insanely easy to get a tech job. they’re basically shoved in ur face compared to what kids in like, social sciences or literally any other field have to work with
