tbh I only use drive for the reason that most ppl use google products now which is that it seamlessly integrates with an ecosystem we are all forced to use daily and using dropbox feels like.............going to a different city just to do your laundry?
this makes sense i also have a very stupid & idiosyncratic workflow where i never use gdocs/sheets/etc unless it's for collab stuff and most of my personal bits and pieces are spread between a combo of pdfs and uhhh .txt files and desktop stickies lmao so

also i think i would use gsuite more if it weren't for the fact that their ios apps are trash and also i...........really fuckin hate material design

goog should rly consider the environmental impact of anything they ship bc hordes of developers will inevitably copy them and now ppl are subjected to material design rip offs even if u don't use g suite
