Alternatively, make humanities people take algorithms courses not to deeply enjoy the material; but hope one day they'll date an engineer because they were forced to learn how to traverse a binary tree? This doesn't make sense

concerning how many of u are taking “talking to” to be a dating thing as if there weren’t a whole slew of work & nonromantic life situations where one might be bored out of one’s mind talking to a tech guy

Reminding tech guys what the gender ratio is in humanities classes, and then you don't have to worry about finding other reasons to compel them. I took a French class in college pour chercher les femmes :)
