Yeah, Airbnb descriptions are terrible. The thing about "walking distance" that bugs me is it tells you nothing about the walking infrastructure. Will I be walking a half mile over a bridge on a regional highway with no shoulder? Is there a sidewalk? Much to be improved.
“walking distance” is the most useless phrase on airbnb and should be banned. could be 5 min if ur a lazy suburbanite like me or 40 min for a battle hardened new yorker, just a totally meaningless pair of words
