you can tell where people’s driveways start because that’s where the potholes appear and the lines start fading but every public road looks like it was repaved literally yesterday

didn’t rly understand what living in a rich country is supposed to be like until we drove 6 hours out of oslo into the middle of nowhere mountains and all the roads were still perfect?? all that snow and rain every year and there isn’t a single crack in the asphalt

just wanna add that i took a public! bus! with wifi and chargers! that takes you 6 hours from the city to the middle of an enormous national park and you can just throw your pack in the hold and get to most parks in norway this way, it is so easy it’s honestly fucked up

Are we talking about Oslo as in Norways capital? I am a norwegian, and our roads sucks so hard compared to all other North European countries! And we have insane road toll fees! I live 1 hour outside of Oslo. A road that has been in bad shape for 10 years was finaly fixed now.
