I legit don’t see where this is weird/red flag? I studied computer science and am a software engineer, a question about my fave programming languages seems like one of the most normal things to ask in any setting.
yeah i suppose this was out of context and the bigger issue is he could not come up with anything else at all to talk about and every attempt by me to change the subject died within minutes
Makes sense. Come date in the south, where most people have no idea what my job entails and they think JavaScript is something you can order at starbucks
