The few times I've been there the nights in summer are colder than summer nights in Chicago where I'm from. Daytime is warmer of course

Paris & London are pretty cold too, but surprisingly devoid of hoodies. SF single handedly supports the hoodie-industrial complex (although visitors from the south are allowed to wear Patagonia vests)
