Some of my "digital humanities" friends in undergrad got really excited when they started developing this program that could guess whether play snippets fed into it were comedies or tragedies, I told them great, maybe in a few years' time we wouldn't have to read anything at all

anyways the application does have potential i shouldn’t hate on it that much but currently none of the ppl who know the tools well know the humanities well and vice versa. also u shouldn’t get a whole separate department for just applying statistics to something
