teaching/mentoring is such an important & difficult & impactful endeavor and it's like, super Fucked Up when someone in a teaching/mentoring position just clearly doesn't care and doesn't want to be there

if you don't wanna spend time answering your intern's questions, don't take an intern! if you don't care about figuring out how your students learn best or even making sure the material you're teaching is factually correct, don't teach!! it's so easy. just don't do it
