the lack of evergreen trees on the east coast always gets me, rly changes the mood when it’s sunny outside but all the trees still look dead

on the plus side, DC made some great aesthetic choices in going for cherry and magnolia trees so whatever does happen to be blooming rn is cute & pink & inoffensive! unlike stanford campus, which went all in on those trees that smell like cum
