overheard two VCs the other day talking about their kids’ college admissions and hot damn the rich & influential are playing a whole different ballgame here which like i knew but hearing it in person is something else??

on college as an indicator of future hiring value: “the kids i find are the best aren’t even the stanford kids, it’s the PSDs. poor, smart, and driven” so like...if u had to work hard to get past financial disadvantages, know that ur story can be summed up in 3 letters
