certain songs evoke very strong images/scenes for me and it’s incredibly jarring when the artist releases the music video or does an interview and turns out whatever was in their head is Completely Different

same thing happens with songs being used in movie soundtracks and also film adaptations of books i think i’m just permanently stuck in the toddler stage of not understanding that other people have different thoughts than me
