things that irk me to no end: when all of STEM gets bashed bc of tech ppl that got carried away and fucked things up. leave the physicists and cancer researchers in peace pls they did nothing wrong

humanities gives you a sense of ethics, aesthetics, ability to analyze a bunch of ideas none of which might be 100% right, and most importantly context for where we are and how we think today

STEM gives you formal logical reasoning, the drive to actually solve problems and not just talk about them, an understanding of the bounds of human knowledge, and most importantly a healthy respect for unbreakable laws of nature
