      ¿Qué blockchain distribuido y abierto funciona sin una cryptomoneda? (Los “blockchains” cerrados y centralizados son simples bases-de-datos/sistemas distribuidos, que existen hace tiempo y no son realmente disruptivos)

      Smart contracts , note que El concepto de "moneda" es la abstraccion del "valor" de la transaccion. Sea abierto o cerrado blockchain asegura inmutabilidad a traves de un sistema distribuido donde el consenso no contempla un servidor central para verificacion.

      Me refiero al concepto generico de validacion de documentoa, bienes o similares, en terminos tecnicos todo es una transaccion, smart contracts es la aplicacion de esto usando blockchain: ethereum, hyperledger composer..

      Pero en la *practica* blockchains-sin-cryptocurrencies no ofrecen nada muy novedoso. Todas esas validaciones/transacciones se pueden hacer hace rato de manera centralizada o con relaciones de confianza pre establecidas. Que se pueda hacer en redes trustless es la innovación.

      Y en ese sentido Bitcoin, Ethereum o Monero son blockchains innovadores. Todos ellos con un cryptoasset que es parte *integral* de la solución trustless. Le sacas la moneda y la solución se cae.

      Que sea algo nuevo/innovador es lo que le amerita un nuevo nombre o categoría. Llamar “blockchain” a cosas que en realidad no tienen esas características nuevas es algo que espero de vendedores de IBM, pero no de gente técnica.
