  I’m a .45 person myself. (Kimber) I remember one day at the range going from a S&W 9mm - Kimber .45 - S&W 9mm and the 9 felt like a cap gun by the end of the day.

  My experience of .45 ACP was that I couldn’t hit anything, which seemed to defeat the purpose... Sounds like you’ve got a proper shitshow there, I’m sorry a gun was part of the solution.
