    「性能が上がらない→データ増やすかパラメータ調整しなきゃ」だけじゃなくて，そもそも学習のフレームワーク（これが本来のモデル）がイケていない可能性があるわけです．そこにメスを入れないと根本解決にならない場合が多い．

    「機械学習で大規模データからモデルを作る」とか，９割くらいの人が「モデル」の使い方を誤用していますね．こういう言い方をしちゃうと，データの学習前から根本的に仮定（＝モデル）が存在しているという事実に気づきにくい．

    逆に「根本原理の理解」だけを目指すと，なんだか原理を正しく理解してなきゃ意味がないみたいな感じになっちゃうので行き過ぎる場合がありますね．例えばトピックモデルとかは人間が文章を創る原理とはかけ離れてますけど，文章の特徴的な構造をある程度上手に捉えているから有用なわけでして．
