your manners are your beauty and your beauty is in your faith. you have the capability to be a constant reminder to people that God is great by simply being good to people. respect yourself, protect your dignity, show kindness, pray and keep your intentions pure. be the reminder.

This is a reminder, that as Muslims we must be resilient when facing adversity and never give up hope in Allah (swt). We must only seek the pleasure of Allah and not the approval of people. No matter what comes your way, Allāh will never burden a soul with what they can’t bear!

The Prophet ﷺ DID complain. But not because he was upset with what was happening to him but because he was worried that he was facing Allāh (swt) wrath because he had perhaps angered him. Out of his extreme love & fear for Allāh, even in his weakest moment where he could have

How many times have we felt so lost in life? How many times have we come to a point of breaking, and feeling alone with nowhere to run to or hide. How many times have we asked Allāh “why me?!” & how many times have we turned to Allah (swt) to only complain and question why

The Prophet (ﷺ) in his weakest moment, turned to Allah (swt) & said I do not care for the approval or pleasure of people. As long Allah is pleased w/ me, any enemy can harm me, any tribulation can come my way, any grief can overcome me, but I am satisfied if my Lord is satisfied

Subhan’Allah! This was the Prophet ﷺ complaint to Allah (swt). He said I am weak, I have no idea how I‘m going to achieve this, I have been humiliated! But you are the Lord of the weak, & the Most Merciful. You can leave me to my enemies as long as YOU are not displeased with me

The Prophet ﷺ, could have given up. At a time where the road ahead seemed impossible let alone hard, he could have lost all motivation. Instead He ﷺ said:

& insulted by an entire city. This is when the Prophet ﷺ took refuge under a palm tree, and made a Du’a to Allah (swt) which shows the remarkable character and explains why he was the best of creation.

He had now been abandoned from his native tribe, Quraysh for preaching Islam. He had lost his two dearest companions and protectors, his wife & his uncle. His companions were being tortured till death because they chose to heed his message. & now he had been humiliated-

The people of Ta’if pelted him with stones, shoes and spat on him. Even children & slaves were encouraged to hurt him. The Prophet ﷺ, a noble man & the best of creation staggered out of Ta’if, wounded and covered in blood and dirt.

The leaders of Ta’if were arrogant and crude, & they did not even want to listen to the Prophet ﷺ. They greeted him with mockery and ridicule, and ordered the people of Ta’if to pelt the Prophet ﷺ with whatever they could find.

He travelled with his adopted son, Zayd ibn Harithah, & called upon the leaders & people of Ta’if, to abandon their idolatry, to acknowledge the Oneness of God, to repudiate man-made distinctions of high and low, and to believe in the equality and brotherhood of all men
