    See this with a lot of parties wrt their treatment of the digital media, esp regional parties. In spite of all their talk about the mainstream media being sold out. Surprising that this is happening even when and are handling the AAP campaign.

    In court today, cops sought extension of custody on the grounds that the complainant was a minor at the time of the incident and thereafter registered the case under the POCSCO Act. Sources say the second complainant was a minor at the time of being recorded too.

    Many were also known to them and were family friends. In the laptop, police found identification and contact details of all those recorded. The extortion bit started a few years after they started recording the women. 1 more woman has filed a complaint since the arrests.

    Loharuka and Aggarwal were then arrested on 28 Jan. Sources say they started recording women back in 2013 when both were minors. They got into relationships with women and and recorded their intimate moments. These women were people they met through social media, Tinder etc.

    The cops first nabbed Loharuka's cook, Kailash Yadav in Jan, who was being used as a front by the two to communicate with the woman and make phone calls to her. They then discovered over 182 video clips belonging to atleast 60 women from Loharuka's laptop.

    Acting on a complaint of a woman, the police began investigation on this case in November. The woman claimed that she was being asked to pay 10 lakh rupees, failing which intimate videos of her were being threatened to be released. She had earlier paid 5 lakhs to the same people.

    A month ago, I was unemployed, uninspired and hated myself. But today I have a full-time job and ample freelance projects on the side. My point is that jobs will come and go but hating yourself is permanent. 🤟🏽

    Soon after, two other women shared the first woman's post and said said that they were one of the 5 victims she named. One of them said Dasgupta tried to forcibly have sex with her in 2017, i.e. after he'd graduated from college.

    The first woman to come out posted on the St. Stephen's alumni groups on Facebook, viz. Stephanians and Laal Sitara. Soon, her post was deleted from Laal Sitara which is the official alumni group of the college.
