The only reason why @ikamalhaasan tops #twitter is because he takes on social issues, has a stand with a rationale and is very vocal. Most of the other celebrities from film fraternity leverages the platform only as a marketing tool and there’s nothing wrong about it

In Chennai for a few weeks, went to a couple of restaurants with friends and family. Majority of the waiters spoke only Hindi and have no clue about Tamil. Wasn’t able to order what I want in Tamil or English. If you come to a state for living, please learn the local language!

Legal community always believe that things get resolved faster over peaceful talks versus legal battles in court. @ikamalhaasan efforts in building a friendly relationship with @CMofKarnataka is commendable. Politicians, analysts & media yearn for spice so they can only mock!

While enjoying everything I was witnessing in #Vishwaroopam2 trailer, there is this lingering thought back in my brain...what a sad loss it is going to be for Indian cinema without @ikamalhaasan when he bids adieu to cinema and be a full-time politician?

#Vishwaroopam2 trailer filled with swashbuckling stunt & action sequences. Fans are in for yet another masterclass treat from @ikamalhaasan Vishwaraoopam is the only movie that I watched twice in a theater - first for the hero, as a fan & second for the screenplay and direction.

2 friends talking on #Vishwaroopam2 F1:movie has been sitting in can for 5 years, will it be relevant? Historically such movies haven’t been so. F2: they say @ikamalhaasan movies are 10 years ahead so we have 5 more yrs. It’ll still be futuristic like Aalavandan or AnbeSivam

It is unpleasant to see @ikamalhaasan fans posting @rajinikanth 's #Kaala cinema hall status and boasting dull sales. It's your prerogative to watch or ignore a movie but watch it before you criticize its content or the performance of actors in it.

There is no reason to ban #Kaala in Karnataka. Cauvery verdict has been issued by The Supreme Court. It is not morally correct to oppose a film just bcoz @rajinikanth stood for the verdict that didn't favor his home state. It is an individual's right to see or not see the movie

Media firms, fans (both sides) & politicians aspiring mileage - please note that your twisting of facts, misleading headlines, or agitated responses will not create any rift between @ikamalhaasan & @rajinikanth they know each other better & longer than you & they’ve seen this all
