They were overblown vendor events anyways so it's not like I'm actually missing out
In any case, legal restrictions are beside the point. The point of the comparison is that Linux Foundation executives get paid more for less achievement than the Apache Foundation executives.

Well, yes... but that's comparing apples & oranges. LF runs dozens of high profile events, creates training programs, spends a _lot_ of time on PR, etc. where ASF... doesn't.

Now, those things may be unimportant to you and you might feel some kinda way about LF salaries in general - and that's OK! - but using ASF for comparison with LF is faulty.
