I would prefer both Physical & Digital, but there is only digital will always get digital especially if its of my favorite artists!

In our case, very strong digital sales will be a good indicator to whether something will also sell well for physicals. So if people bought more digitals, it'll let us know whether to print it or not.

I buy digital, in the hopes that the sale will lead towards a physical release.
-
Yup. That's exactly what we look for as well. Strong digital sales are very promising numbers for us to print physicals.

Liking having a physical collection, but enjoy using the digital version for reading most of the time.

In Japan, digital versions are starting to become very popular due to smaller housing limiting space and for folks with kids/families.

I would much rather have physical copies myself

I would like to add that buying them becomes a pain in the ass. Either I have to go through a proxy buyer that wants a lot more information than I am comfortable giving, they're hard to find, or they're being sold at a jacked up price.

As long as I can read & enjoy the story, either physical or digital is fine. Although if I was presented with the option between physical or digital, I'd go with physical. There's just something special about picking a doujinshi off the shelf & just getting lost in the story.

Totally know what you mean <3 falling into the world of doujinshi stories ^o^
