I read in an article by coconuts manila that SkinWhite’s response to this is that they wanted to use REAL twins and to show that their only difference is the colour of their skin and WOW. Fire your whole marketing team because you’re a literal skin bleaching company.

This does nothing for your company other than tugging at the heartstrings of the people hoping to love their skin for what it is.
You can’t promote acceptance of oneself when you had to change models just to make darkskinned Filipinas relate to them.
