    Asking your players what their plans are before each session is such a boon in letting them shape the story and helping the DM prepare to help push that narrative forward. I highly encourage it.

    I want to talk about I trend I see in two communities that I know, love, and hold dear to my heart: D&D and FFXIV. Because the trend is telling. It's the "We want new players, but we don't actually want new players" trend. 🧵

    My brother did things to the D&D 5e rules that allowed us to bind a large print version of the PHB for my Mother in Law so she can play with her grandson. It currently covers her desk, and is marked up with stickies with questions. She’s engaging it. Accessibility matters.

    Sometimes when I inquire about traditional (from author standpoint) others assume I'm ignoring or bashing . I was there in the early 2000s at Xlibris, when people laughed at us for making ebooks; have self-published thousands of individual pieces of content.
