So you're trying to say, tourism are fine, and people like me who join my long time Irish partner should be on a waiting list till when Ireland have a bigger migrants capacity

No I didn't say that Are you saying my disabled sister who is on a housing list has to wait 13 years for a 1 bed apartment even though she has worked here all her life? We have a limit, it has clearly not worked of late Letting anyone and everyone in without considering supply

Social housing has nothing to do with limited rental supplies... It's simply because they were not being built.

Yes so why would we continue to let more people come in, while we have nowhere for them to live? This drives up prices If we continuously increase demand while slowly increasing supply, the problem never goes away If we reduce demand and increase supply, we can fix the backlog

I don't think EU is ok with Ireland limiting migrants in. But then again, you can always Irexit and destroy Irish economy completely. That way literally everyone will move out of Ireland including a big number of Irish people.

EU is not okay with Hungary limiting immigration. Ireland can simply say no.

As I said, I have many many disagreement with GO'D. I don't really see Ireland's immigration/migration as an issue, as a huge part is young working taxpayers, and, of course, we're allowed to disagree on this.

I agree with you that some level of immigration is good for Ireland about 12-13%

Even if all immigrants disappear overnight, that's just not enough of a difference. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_Republic_of_Ireland …pic.twitter.com/YcktuLt8Wk

I'm sorry for this one, but stats show it is more likely for a non-national to be working than an Irish person. I have nothing against natives though, this can never change.https://www.thejournal.ie/factcheck-varadkar-immigrants-4273981-Oct2018/ …

Well, according to the same govt, we have the lowest unemployment ever, so their figures are completely unreliable. As welfare spending hasnt changed since the crash.

I don't understand how low Irish unemployment rate is a conflict against migrants employment rate.
