My take is, we don't fit the left's stereotype of what we "should be". We don't play the "victim" card, don't believe in giving up our liberty for a false sense of security, and don't take America's awesomeness for granted.
Certainly. But I also believe that there is resentment of Cuba’s yesteryear and what we‘be been able to accomplish after exile. I think there’s been a them vs us mentality. Just look at @RepDMP comments regarding the Cuban community.
