The Florida legislature passed *bipartisan* legislation prohibiting cell phone use while driving. Regulating gun making (fingerprint activation...), possession, and use similarly to how we regulate driving preserves everyone's right to own guns while making everybody safer.
According to TeanSafe, there are 3,287 deaths each day due to fatal car crashes. On average, 9 of these daily fatalities are cell phone related. I’ve yet to hear Dems talk of taking our cars or cells.... “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

It’s also federally illegal for felons to possess firearms but that law didn’t seem to stop the 2 felons that robbed a jewelry store and then a UPS truck. Stop trying to make it harder for good people to get firearms.
