That is so sad :( What did you do to occupy yourself as a child?
Time would go by very slowly. Was always involved (at least listening) in grown up conversation. Not much else to do. 
That’s why I can’t fathom people complaining about poverty in this country. Complaining is easy. Luck is a for letter word- work!
