      Funny how in your documentary that doctor was calling Cubans coming over not from this planet, I also heard the word "Undesirable " used a lot and "Send them back where they came from"

      That was the thinking at the time. Marielitos like Irina were considered trash at the time, even by the Cubans that arrived in the 60s and 70s. Some people like to climb the ladder, and then burn it down behind them.
