    You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.

    I am disgusted that players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media. It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

    I can't understand why there is a shortage of foreign HGV drivers after we spent five years telling them to fuck off back home.

    We’re aware of a shortage of HGV drivers, so I'm announcing a temp extension of drivers' hours rules from Mon 12 July, giving flexibility to drivers & operators to make slightly longer journeys. We've ramped up the number of driving tests available & will consider other measures.

    I've just discovered that although we notoriously renamed Marathon bars to Snickers to fall in line with the US and Europe, the US did have a Marathon bar of its own in the 70s and 80s, except it was a Curly Wurly. This is like a fucking Christopher Nolan film.

    I've had my vintage electric guitar stolen. It was built especially for me by legendary guitar maker John Birch 44 years ago and was an 18th birthday present from my parents. If you happen to see an advert for this guitar it will probably be mine as there were so few ever made♥️
