Unfortunately yes. We’ve tried to balance wow factor of platform and actual reach. I’ve attached a photo of the paper to the tweet as one workaround, but if you email me, I can also send you the private author share link that has the full non-paywall version

When AI models identify biases, often means the signal exists in the input data. Determination of appropriate representativeness vs. true bias is important, yet articles calling out "AI is biased" gets more attention "wait, AI is discovering this and that's in our data."

Congrats on the piece. would be curious on your thoughts. in order to reduce disparities, we have to do something (interventions). Can AI do causal inference and tell us what interventions we do? I was hoping to see how AI can in fact do causal inference
