OMG YES! I use irccloud for all my slack stuff. How can I use this?

We are confused how to set this up.

How far have you got?

@HenryR is trying to set it up on our slack. Henry, can you explain where the confusion is?

Do we have to be paid members for this to work? New to IRCCloud and am still on my free trial. The FAQ suggests trial accounts won't work.

Ah yes, for now it's only available to paid members.

Thanks! is there any slack-side setup to do as a slack admin? or do only individual users have to configure anything (i.e. enable slack in their own IRCCloud account)?

Will it support SSO Slack?

It should do, but without access to testing instances, we haven't been able to... test that. Let us know if you find out!

@irccloud In and channels are loaded. Will let you know how I get on :) Does it play nice with mobile apps?

It does work with mobile apps after you set it up in the web app, but a lot of the extra things are still missing. It works at least as well as the old IRC gateway, with added avatars.

Hmm that should be working already. Do you mean display names or real names? Display should work, real needs the nicks on separate line layout setting enabled.

Real names in the channel listing on the right? As the slack client does?
