there is a Spanish saying which roughly translates as "every pig will get its Saint Martin" (=bad people will eventually pay for their bad deeds). I guess this is saying could be originally from Galicia (so, Celt in a way) since pig farming is particularly traditional there.

WOW who said Celtic Traditions didn't make to modern times. Our Celtic & European Ancestors slaughtered Animals at this time of year to get them through Winter. I don't think they would have wasted the blood. I E BLACK PUDDINGS.
