I meant this as a comparison between Serial’s new episode and the other newspaper and internet coverage of Adnan’s release that I’d seen this week. I honestly didn’t intend it as a comparison to Rabia's podcast. But I understand how it was taken as such. My mistake.

Our contributor has thought a LOT about her own English accent as a first gen Chinese American. She has many thoughts and a theory about these accents, and wants to talk to others who moved here from China as kids or adults. Is that you? Email us! story@thislife.org.

I was the guest on the Unholy podcast and had such a fun time talking to & that I've now been going thru their old episodes and completely enjoying this show. With me, they raised lots of stuff I rarely or never talk about.

Lost & Found was one of my favorite books this past year and I have so many questions for the author! It was moving and totally original and also made me wonder if I'm a robot. Come or - honestly - just buy the book. No! Come! It'll be fun. tinyurl.com/yckbkhfr

rest in peace to Gilbert Gottfried who has probably the best sequence in game show history on Hollywood Squares. if you're not an old hag like me who remembers the rules, both contestants needed his square to secure the 5-square win, but he decided to troll both of them

The guy who wrote Moneyball and The Big Short and The Premonition - Michael Lewis - fascinatingly - went back and reread his first book, Liars Poker, and thought "I didn't know how to write"! Ummm maybe. I'm not sure. We talk about it on HIS podcast this week.

We’ve been working on this for years now and it’s great and very different from S-Town or Serial or our other shows.

Hey everybody. I have some big personal news. I am stepping aside as host of Radiolab. This show that I started in 2002 - in my basement - is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and this feels like the right time. wnycstudios.org/podcasts/radio (1/6)

I know I'm late to this but it's one of the best podcasts - or whatever you want to call it - I've heard in a long while. Amazing story. Beautifully handled. I cared. I looked forward to going back to it. You have to pay but IMO worth it.

. sure brings a ton of school spirit to this new podcast he’s doing. At every turn he and his team go the extra mile, piling one fun, inventive moment after another. The sound production during the movie theater scene: so good! Storytime!!!!

This really puts the Pulitzers and Peabodys and Emmys in perspective ... I had the honor of being invited to the #XMenHellfireGala. It's in the issue they just dropped – X-Factor #10. Looking forward to reading it!

I loved (and burst into tears at the end of) this weird, funny, sad 4-episode TV show that our contributor Etgar Keret made with his wife Shira Geffen. It's like nothing else. A guy time-travels to his own past.

GF and I watched Another Round last night. Today walking by liquor store we both were like “Let’s buy vodka!” For the first time in our lives.
