I’m obliged for the call for sanctions and actions of supporting HKers. The UK has an indispensable role in ensuring that China is fulfilling its commitment. HKers truly need help from the UK in these gloomy days.
On 01Sept2020, HK Gov officially announced: HK has NO separation of powers. Well, 1) no separation of powers means no judicial independence; 2) no judicial independence means no rule of law; 3) no rule of law means only political persecution and no fair trial.
This is no longer just a fight for Hong Kong’s freedoms. I hope that UK & the international community can pay attention to the fate of HongKongers and strengthen sanctions against the #CCP
