Jeebus people! That ad was about Google seamlessly sucking up your most personal memories over a 50 year relationship. That's not sweet! That's horrible.

Holding the legislature at gunpoint is not peaceful. Even if the guns are never fired, the implicit threat is coercion in and of itself.

Using the threat of violence to affect political change only works if the ordinary person is sufficiently afraid. Example A and example B aren't different, they are a functioning unit. Example A gets what he wants because of the action Example B took.

On the left, an armed man entering a government building to exercise his right to peaceful protest. On the right, an armed man entering a government building to murder people. In all sincerity, how is any ordinary person supposed to know the difference & respond appropriately?

Trump got Bill Barr to close down the Mueller investigation and lie to the American public about the findings of that investigation. Having seemingly got away with that he began his Ukraine extortion plan. He's not going to change. If anything he, and the , emboldened now.

It would be a shame if this video that exposes Mitch McConnell got tons of retweets and moved from 890,000 views to 1 Million views by tomorrow.

From the people who brought you "there's going to be a Presidential election in a year so we're just cravenly not gonna fill this SCOTUS seat" comes "the President definitely committed crimes but there's gonna be an election soon so let's not punish him."

History will not look upon Republicans kindly. Unfortunately, we live in the fucking present, where they've let Trump get away with all of it, and by the time history gets around to not looking upon them kindly they'll all be long dead. So that's not really a comfort right now.

This Fall, vote like these are the last elections we ever have. Because if you don't, they likely will be.

"A big beautiful wall, with dozens of unguarded gates left open for months at a time! And who's gonna pay for it? Come on, lemme hear you! Yes! Military families are going to pay for the wall! That's right!"

Don't bother with any other of the tweets in this cascade of bullshit. Here, a US Senator admits that Trump did what he's accused of doing, but is going to give him a pass anyway.

Republicans will likely be celebrating an acquittal tomorrow. They shouldn’t. Putting this president above the law will lead to suffering for everyone in the end, and when they’re hurt enough to decide it’s time to stop him they’ll find they’ve burned all the tools to do so.

For what it’s worth at the start of this process a handful of Republican electeds gave statements indicating if this was proven they thought it was very very bad. All have walked that back.

lol. No everybody knew and in almost every case was on record saying the Senate would acquit the President. Democrats did it to vindicate the constitution and make Republicans go on record as captive to Trumps lawless, wildly unconstitutional actions.

So GOP Senators are admitting that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine to hurt Joe Biden - but that it’s not an impeachable offense. Unbelievable that Senators are saying it’s ok for a President to use foreign governments to interfere in our elections.

I once knew an honorable but careerism & cowardice turned him into just another flunky for the crime boss in the Oval Office. Holding onto power means doing anything, including parroting Vlad Putin and worse.
